Grade: 2
1.) Course Description:
Library Science on the second grade level is designed to expand the students' appreciation 
and use of books.  At this level students have access to the entire library collection.

Students will:
v     Select books on their reading level and interest.
v     Use proper library etiquette.
v     Recognize that books are arranged by subject and author.
v     Use the library and all its sources as an information source for classroom work.
v     Listen and respond to storytelling.
v     Identify parts of a book (cover, spine, spine label, title page, title, author, illustrator, publisher,
         place of publication, and date of publication).

v  No actual text; books are selected from library collection and various independent sources.
