During the year we will focus on the proceeding topics:  understand the scientific process (prediction,

observe, data collection, inferences, conclusion, and experimentation); understanding seasonal change,

affects of weather on life processes; investigate and understand that plants have life needs, functional

parts, and can be classified; investigate and understand that animals have life needs; understand

that the sun is a source of light and heat.
