    Students who elect a schedule that includes a Hybrid (mixture of online and on-campus courses) Learning Environment will have the option to take core course online and elective course on campus or online, depending upon availability.   Mid-day shuttle will  be provided.

    Advanced Placement Options>>> 

    Students who choose a schedule that includes a hybrid learning environment will be able to select from 8 advanced-placement courses. 

    College in High School>>>

    The College in High School Program allows students to earn college credits and a transcript from the University of Pittsburgh, Mt. Aloysius College, California University of Pennsylvania Westmoreland County Community College and/or LaRoche College while taking classes in the Belle Vernon Area High School. The College in High School classes have a minimal tuition fee.

    Vocational Technical Programs >>>

    In partnership with the Central Westmoreland Career and Technology Center, which provides over 16 half-day technical programs. Students will have the option to pursue courses in skilled labor and industry-based technology programs.

    On-Site Computer Labs>>>

    Students enrolled in a hybrid program will have access to technology and support on campus before, during, and after the school day.

    Guidance Services>>>

    Students and families willbe able to take advantage of career and college planning by participating in assemblies, programs, career and scheduling fairs, onsite visits from college and university representatives and from military personnel.

    Fitness Facility>>>

    The Belle Vernon Area Multiplex offers a fitness center.This complex offers students cardio-equipment (ellipticals, treadmills, and spinning bikes), free weights, weight machines and various other equipment.Students have access to this facility after school.
