Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment is a program that enables junior and senior BVAHS students, with a minimum grade point average of 3.0, to enroll in college course work while attending high school. Students in this program elect to enroll in rigorous college coursework while earning both high school and college credits. Students must complete an application process, complete all requirements of the post-secondary school, and agree to payment to the university in order to earn college credits. Although transferring Dual Enrollment credits to a post-secondary school can provide many benefits, credits are not AUTOMATICALLY accepted at all post-secondary schools. It is important to speak with an admissions representative at all prospective post-secondary schools to ascertain their policies regarding Dual Enrollment.
