• The Belle Vernon Area School District is accepting applications for the confidential secretary position of Payroll/Benefits Coordinator. Successful candidates must have the following qualifications:

    • High school diploma required, Associate Degree in accounting, business management or business administration or a minimum of three plus years in directly related position within school district preferred
    • Ability to make arithmetic computations and tabulations with speed and accuracy
    • Ability to work independently
    • Computer experience with emphasis in word processing, spreadsheets, and financial reporting systems
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, familiarity with ProSoft & Frontline (AESOP) preferred
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills in a multi-task, fast-paced environment
    • Ability to perform all job responsibilities with a high degree of confidentially
    • Valid driver’s license

    Acts a general payroll and benefits coordinator for all personnel including maintain the software, new hire implementation, all aspects of health care benefits and administration, payroll, quarterly reports, w-2’s, PSERS, FMLA compliance, Human Resources duties as assigned and update employee records as necessary. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience
