    School Psychologist 

     

    Description:

    Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological, educational, and instructional

    evaluations, serving as an educational team member, conducting presentations, making

    educational recommendations, providing counseling to groups or individuals, and additional

    tasks as directed. Psychologist will also conduct appropriate testing, when requested, in an

    effort to increase learning and achievement, appropriate behavior and social function.

    Psychologist will collaborate with building-level administrators on student related issues.

     

    Qualifications:
    Masters or Doctorate in School Psychology

    Pennsylvania Certification - School Psychologist PK - 12 

     

    Terms of Employment:

    Full-time, 200 days per year following school calendar with additional days in the summer

    Act 93 position

    Salary- regionally competitive

    Coordinator of Student Services / Assistant Elementary Principal

     

    Description:

    Strong leader with the ability to interact effectively with staff, parents and community

    members while proactively developing relationships with parents & guardians. Assist the school

    principal in maintaining a safe and orderly educational environment; while effecting student

    improvement and monitoring of educational programs and staff. Coordinates the elements

    involved in providing an appropriate educational program for students with disabilities in

    curriculum and instruction in the least restrictive environment. Provides direct and ongoing

    leadership to District and school personnel through participation in consultation, collaboration,

    professional learning activities, staff evaluation/assessment process, and curriculum planning

    and development of specialized instructional strategies and programs. Plans, organizes, and

    coordinates the deployment of specific related services resources (speech, hearing, vision)

    across school-based programs. Utilizes level of service and enrollment data to inform equitable

    deployment of resources. Establishes and maintains partnerships and linkages with external

    public and private organizations, governmental agencies and other stakeholders as well as

    serving as a liaison to both internal and external parties on a variety of issues. Maintains

    compliance with all state and federal mandates for special education services. Collaboration

    with building-level administrators on student related issues.

     

    Qualifications:

    Teaching/Administrative experience in Special Education

    Masters or Doctorate in Special Education/Educational Leadership

    Pennsylvania Certification- Supervisor of Special Education/Pupil Personnel Services,

    Administrator Principal K-12(optional)

    REGISTERED NURSE SUBSTITUTES

     

    Day-to-Day substitute nursing positions at various school buildings in District or attendance on Field Trips as required.
     
    Clearances required prior to substituting (dated within 12 months of start date)
    1.       Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License
    2.       PA Criminal Record Check – Act 34
    3.       Federal Criminal History Check – Act 114
    4.       Child Abuse Clearance – Act 151
    5.       Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure – Act 168
     
    Primary Location = All Buildings
    Salary = $80/day = available immediately
    Shift Type = Part-time
     

     


     

    LICENSED RN OR LPN FOR SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS

     

    Licensed RN or LPN needed to monitor two special needs students, to and from the Watson Institute.

    The hours are 7:15 AM to 9:45 AM run, and 1:15 PM to 4:15 PM run, Monday thru Friday.

     

    Clearances required prior to substituting (dated within 12 months of start date)
    1.       Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License

    SUBSTITUE BUS DRIVERS

    • No experience necessary: We will provide CDL training.
    • All drivers must possess valid PA driver's license and meet hiring criteria, which includes background checks and drug testing.

         -Criminal Record Check (Act 34)
         -Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
    • Physical and TB test form from doctor
         -Physical Examination Form, original form from doctor dated not more than one year prior
         -TB Test (Section on III physical examination form) dated not more than three months prior.
    • Two Forms of Identification
         -(i.e. valid Driver's License, Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, Passport, or U.S. Military Card)
