Physical Dates and Information:
Fall 2020 Sports' Physicals will be given at Belle Vernon Area High School on Monday, July 27 and Tuesday, July 28 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm in the HS Nurse's Office. All forms needed to be turned in ahead of time. All new players (6th and 7th Grade) will need to take the Concussion Screening Baseline Test with our athletic training staff. The test will be good for two years. It will be scheduled during the physical sessions and through the summer months.
** All students MUST have a completed physical to participate in practices and games. These forms MUST be completed and turned in to either Coach Divelbliss or Coach Coneybeer by the start of the mandatory season.
**If you choose to go to your family doctor, you must use the CIPPE Forms that are provided on the website or at the Belle Vernon Area School District's website.
Sections 1 to 4 of the CIPPE Forms must be completed in their entirety before coming to the physical. If you go to your Family Physician for the physical, then the CIPPE Forms must also be completed. The physical MUST be dated no earlier than June 1, 2020.
All players must also have an Concussion Screening Test. It is a C3 Logic Test administered by the Allegheny Health Network. The C3 Logic Test is good for (2) years and must be current. A computer lab will be utilized at the High School for the testing with our athletic training staff through the Allegheny Health Network.
Copies of the CIPPE Forms are available on this webpage, the BVA website, and in each of the school buildings if needed.
Media Day is at the Belle Vernon Area Stadium (James Weir Stadium) and is not currently scheduled.
