• This site is meant as a database for all information regarding the COVID-19 and it's impact relating to the education of students within the Belle Vernon Area School District. It will be updated as often as their is information available and the most recent update will be on top and dated. Information will also be distributed through Social Media.

  •  Per the Governor's declaration, The Belle Vernon Area School District will be closed until April 6th and will include a cancellation of ALL extracurricular activities. Again, ALL Belle Vernon Area School District buildings will be closed during this period. Additional information on the closures and the COVID-19 virus will be posted below. 

    Beginning April 1, 2020 all Belle Vernon Area Students will be participating in either online or packet and pencil work to continue our continuity of education.  Please select your child's school from the Schools tab on https://www.bellevernonarea.net/ to access the letter from your child's principal with directions for getting started.​  Be safe.​

  • March 27th, 2020 Update:

  • March 23rd, 2020 Updates: 

    Governor Wolf has extended the mandated closure of all Pennsylvania Schools to at least April 6th.
     
    Based on the decision to extend the closure of all Pennsylvania schools by Gov.Tom Wolfe, the Belle Vernon Area School District will offer Grab and Go meals to any child between the ages of 2 and 18 beginning Monday, March 30, 2020. Both breakfast and lunch will be provided.
